Explain conversion of fractions into percentage

A fraction is a number represented in pq form and consists of a numerator and a denominator.

A percentage is a whole value which is represented with the symbol of percentage, %

To convert a fraction into a percentage, it is “multiplied” by 100.

For example: Given a fraction 32. To convert this into percentage we will multiply the fraction by 100.

So, the resultant value will be 32×100=150%.
