So here the median is the mean of the $\frac{n}{2}$th term and $\left(\frac{n}{2}+1\right)$th term. That is,

$\frac{n}{2}=\frac{10}{2}$th term

$=5$th term

$=11$

and

$\frac{n}{2}+1=\frac{10}{2}+1$th term

$=6$th term

$=13$

Median $=\frac{11+13}{2}$

$$\begin{gathered} =\frac{24}{2} \\ =12 \end{gathered}$$

Hence, the median of the first ten prime numbers is $12$.
