Open in App
Solution

Example for the required polynomial :

  1. Terms are the values on which mathematical operations take place in an expression. A term can be a constant or a variable or both. For example, in the expression 3x+8; 3x and 8 are terms. i.e. there are two terms in this expression.
  2. Binomial is a polynomial which has only two terms.
  3. Degree of a polynomial is the highest power of variable in a polynomial equation.
  4. Now, a binomial of degree 8 is a polynomial which consists of only two terms with highest degree 8

Hence, x8+x is an example for a binomial of degree 8.
