Tetramerous flowers:

  1. The plants which have their floral parts arranged in similar whorls of four are known as Tetramerous flowers.
  2. The parts can be present as parts of multiples of four.
  3. Any of the parts of a flower such as sepals, petals, etc, can be present in whorls of four.
  4. Eg, Brassica juncea.

Pentamerous flowers:

  1. When the parts of a flower are arranged in clusters of five such a plant is known as a pentamerous flower.
  2. Calyx, Corolla, Sepals, etc, which are the floral parts can be present in groups of five.
  3. Eg, Dicots, Hibiscus, etc.
