Aquatic plants, also termed as hydrophytes.

The most common hydrophytes are-

1. Lotus (Nelumbo)
2. Hydrilla which is commonly seen in ponds lakes etc
3. Eichhornia which is commonly called as Water Hyacinth.
4. Trapa
5. Vallisneria
6. Potamogeton
7. Salvinia

Any plant adapted to grow wholly or partly submerged in water or wet habitats are called hydrophytes.
