How do you find sin-π2?
Use standard Trigonometric angles
We know that,
sin90°=1
The given expression is,
sin-π2=-sinπ2 [∵sin(-θ)=-sinθ]
⇒sin-π2=-sin180°2 [∵π=180°]
⇒sin-π2=-sin90°
⇒sin-π2=-1 [∵sin90°=1]
Hence, the value of sin-π2 is obtained to be -1, using the Trigonometric standard angle table.
