How is angular frequency different from angular velocity?

Angular velocity is that velocity which act on revolution or rotation of a body with a certain angle with axis with valid radius.i.e the rate of change of angular rotation.

Angular frequency also known as radial or circular frequency, measures angular displacement per unit time. Its units are therefore degrees (or radians) per second.

ω=2πf or 2πT

The key difference is that one is a vector quantity while the other is a scalar.
