  • The formula to determine the number of elements in a given period is if n is even=(n+2)22, if n is odd= (n+1)22 where n is the period number.
  • Given that there are ten periods So n=10.
  • Hence by substituting the value of n in the even formula we get 10 periods

(10+2)22=1442=72

  • Number of elements= 72

Therefore, The number of elements in the given period= 72
