  5. Radon is formed by the radioactive disintegration of radium.
  6. Since radon itself is a radioactive element, it disintegrates into polonium and alpha particles.
  7. Therefore, due to this radioactive property of radon, it cannot be used in manufacturing lights.
  8. Radon is used for the therapy of cancer, and for implanting tumors.
  9. The inert element mainly used in decorative lights is neon.
