Humidity is the quantity of water vapour present in the air.
How is humidity measured?
Humidity refers to how much water vapour is in the air. Generally, the more water vapour there is, the more humid that area is.
Types of Humidity
- Absolute Humidity
- Relative Humidity
- Specific Humidity
A hygrometer is an instrument used to measure relative humidity. A psychrometer uses two thermometers to measure relative humidity; one measures the dry-bulb temperature, and the other measures the wet-bulb temperature.
