If $2 a = 3 b = 4 c$ , then $a : b : c$ ?

Step $1$ : Find L.C.M. of $2, 3, 4$ .
Given : $2 a = 3 b = 4 c$
$2$ can be written as $= 2 \times 1$
$3$ can be written as $= 3 \times 1$
$4$ can be written as $= 2 \times 2$
L.C.M. of $2, 3, 4$ $= 2 \times 2 \times 3$
L.C.M. of $2, 3, 4$ $= 12$
Step $2$ : Divide with the L.C.M.
$2 a = 3 b = 4 c \Rightarrow \frac{2 a}{12} = \frac{3 b}{12} = \frac{4 c}{12} \Rightarrow \frac{a}{6} = \frac{b}{4} = \frac{c}{3}$
Hence, $a : b : c = 6 : 4 : 3$
