In a uniform magnetic field, the field lines are parallel equidistant straight lines.
Following are the properties of the magnetic field:
- The magnetic field lines do not cross over each other.
- The magnetic field lines are always in a closed-loop moving from the north pole to the south pole.
- The direction of the magnetic field is tangent to the field line.
- The strength of the field is proportional to the density of the lines.
