Open in App
Solution

Synovial joints:

  1. The synovial fluid is present in the cavity of synovial joints.
  2. Joints that may move freely in one or more directions are known as freely mobile joints. One such joint is the synovial joint.
  3. The synovial membrane surrounds the bones of this joint. Within the synovial cavity is a synovial cavity.
  4. This fluid is crucial because it serves as a lubricant. It also gives the bones the nourishment they need and allows them to move in multiple directions. It is possible that we will fall or that these joints would twitch at times. It then serves as a shock absorber.
  5. The following are the several types of synovial joints:
  • Ball and socket joint
  • Pivot joint
  • Gliding joint
  • Saddle joint
  • Hinge Joint
