  1. It is the lightest element of the periodic table with 1 valence electron, it has a tendency to accept 1 electron and exist in diatomic form.
  2. It is gas at room temperature.
  3. When subjected to low temperature and high pressure it exists as liquid Hydrogen.
  4. At a temperature below 15K it can be found as solid.

Thus, Hydrogen is found in gaseous state at room temperature.
