Biodegradable waste:

  • Biodegradable wastes are called the waste materials which are made naturally.
  • These wastes do not cause any pollution in the environment.
  • List of biodegradable waste products in our school: Food waste, Fruit peels, Windy and ripped bits of paper, chalk piece boxes, paper containers, etc.

Non-biodegradable waste:

  • Non-biodegradable wastes are known as man-made or synthetic waste.
  • These wastes help in causing pollution and are very much harmful to the environment.
  • List of nonbiodegradable waste products in our school: Geometrical plastic instruments, Broken glassware, Broken bits of iron, wire plastic containers etc.

Hence, the above mentioned are list the biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste products in our school.

The best ways to get rid of this garbage:

  • Within the school complex, biodegradable waste can be collected and dumped into a pit in a corner where the pit will be ground covered and watered.
  • When the pit is fully finished, a mixture of dung and clay could be spread out for a few weeks as an outer cover and when the garbage has turned black in color and no foul smell is released after a few weeks, it means garbage rotting is complete, and compost is ready to use.
  • Similarly, the non-biodegradable waste can be sold off for reuse or recycling

Hence, by the given best ways we can get rid of the mentioned garbages.
