Solution

Organs:

  1. In biology, an organ is a group of tissues that collectively form a functional unit that is specialized to carry out a certain function (the Latin word "organum" means an instrument or tool).
  2. Our kidneys, lungs, and heart are a few examples of organs.

External Organs:

  1. The organs that enable us to view the outside world are our external organs.
  2. These are also referred to as sense organs, and they are essential parts of our bodies since they give us knowledge about our surroundings.
  3. Below is a list of external organs:
    1. Nostrils: A nostril is one of the two external nasal cavity openings in vertebrates that allows air to enter the lungs and scents to reach the olfactory nerves.
    2. Skin: The largest organ in the body is the skin. The integumentary system is made up of the skin and its byproducts, including the hair, nails, perspiration, and oil glands.
    3. Nose: Our respiratory system includes the nose. It enables air to enter our bodies, filters out contaminants, heats, and humidifies the air after that.
    4. Mouth: The mouth is the aperture where food enters the body. In humans, the lips surround this opening, which also houses the tongue and teeth.
    5. Ear: The ear is a vertebrate organ of hearing and balance that, in most mammals, consists of an inner component that receives sound and transmits nerve signals to the brain as well as an outer section that gathers sound.

Internal Organs:

  1. An animal's internal organs are those that are found inside the body, underneath the skin.
  2. Internal organs including the liver, stomach, heart, and lungs are shielded by layers of skin, fat, and bones.
  3. The human body contains seventy-eight major organs in total.
  4. Multiple organ systems are created as a result of the cooperation of these organs.
  5. Five of these 78 organs are regarded as being necessary for living.
