Mature ovary forms the _________

Fruit.

Ovary contains ovules that develop into seeds eventually after fertilization. After the process of fertilization, the zygote, in time, differentiates to form an embryo inside the ovule. The ovary matures to turn into the fruit which can either be fleshy or dry, in which the seeds are embedded. A unicarpellate or a simple ovary is formed from a single carpel which is an evolutionarily altered leaf. This has one chamber or locule enclosing the ovules.
