Mention the Three Ways in Which Pollination Can Occur?

Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to stigma. It can take place through one of these ways:

  • Autogamy – Pollen of the same flower may fall on its stigma by itself 
  • Allogamy – Pollen of a flower of another plant of the same species can fall on the stigma
  • Geitonogamy – Pollen of another flower of the same plant can fall on the stigma
