Natural fibers are fibers obtained from plants and animals. Synthetic fibres are the man-made polymers which are obtained when many small units are joined together chemically. Examples of both the fibres are given below.

NATURAL FIBRES

Abaca, Coir, Cotton, Flax, Hemp, Jute, Ramie, Sisal, Alpaca wool , Angora, Mohair, Cashmere, Silk , Sheep Wool and Camel skin

SYNTHETIC FIBRES

Rayon, Nylon, Polyester, Artificial silk, Polymer, Terylene, Acetate, Spandex, Lyocell, Zylon, Vinalon, Vectran, Modacrlic, Olefin and Aramids
