(i) Parasitic Plant:

  1. Cuscuta is a parasitic plant with a golden, slender, tubular stem.
  2. The parasite is exemplified by Cuscuta.
  3. It seeks refuge in a host cell. It is reliant on the sustenance of another organism.

(ii) Plant with both heterotrophic and autotrophic modes of nutrition:

  1. The pitcher plant is a plant that may eat both autotrophically and heterotrophically.
  2. Pitcher plants capture insects because they grow in low-nitrogen soils.
  3. Photosynthesis is used by pitcher plants to create carbohydrates.
  4. However, it captures and digests insects as a source of nitrogen.

(iii) Stomata:

  1. Stomata are the pores via which leaves exchange gases.
  2. Stomata are tiny pores found on the underside of leaves that participate in the exchange of gases (oxygen and carbon dioxide) during photosynthesis and respiration.
