On heating Hydrated Copper Sulphate, it turns ______ colour.

Hydrated copper sulphate, on heating, changes from blue to white and the crystalline form changes to amorphous (powder). The chemical reaction is given by

CuSO4.5H2O → CuSO4 + 5H2O(g)

The colour change is due to the escaping of water molecules on heating, and copper sulfate pentathlete is converted to anhydrous copper sulfate.
