Solution

Stars:

  1. It is an astronomical object.
  2. It is held together by its gravity.
  3. The closest star to Earth is Sun.
  4. These are seen by the naked eye at the night.
  5. Their distance from the Earth makes them appear.

A picture to represent the stars:

The reason of stars are twinkling:

Light from stars coming into the atmosphere, it jumps through the different layers and the cold and hot layers of air keep changing, then the bending of the light changes too. This is the reason why the stars twinkle at the night.

Planets:

  1. A very big round object that moves in space around the stars.
  2. Its gravity cleared any other objects.
  3. These are smaller than stars.
  4. They do not make light.

Hence, they are the planets that were seen by Rahul which are not twinkling.
