• The food particles of the hot sizzling food (high temperature) possess large kinetic energy and will diffuse in the air from the higher concentration to the lower.
• The food particles of the cold food (low temperature) will possess less kinetic energy as compared therefore isn't capable of reaching several meters away.

Therefore, the smell of hot sizzling food will reach several meters away because of the high temperature and high kinetic energy possessed.
