Solve the quadratic equations:

x2+x+1=0.

Compute the required value:

We have,x2+x+1=0

General form of quadratic equation: ax2+bx+c=0

On comparing general form of equation with the given equation, we have

a=1,b=1,c=1

Let us find discriminant, D in this case which is

D=b2-4ac=(1)2-4(1)(1)=1-4=-3

When, D<0, the roots are not real.

Hence, the solution is not real.
