Force

It is defined as an external cause that changes or tends to change the body’s state once applied. If the body is in motion, it comes to rest, and if at rest, it will come to motion. When there’s an interaction between two objects, they exert a force on each lot. These exerted forces are equal in size but opposite in direction.

Characteristics of Force:

  • Forces are due to an interaction of at least two objects.
  • It may change the state of motion of an object.
  • It may change the shape of an object.
