$i$ is current.

Calculating SI unit of Inductance:

SI unit of $\varphi \left(i\right)$ is Weber

SI unit of $i$ is Ampere.

$L=\frac{\varphi \left(i\right)}{\left(i\right)}$

$L=\frac{Weber}{Ampere}$

As $Weber=Volt·sec$

$L=\frac{Volt·sec}{Ampere}$

$\frac{Volt·sec}{Ampere}=Henry$

So the SI unit of Inductance is Henry which is denoted by ‘H’.
