  2. Enzymes, chemical compounds, and organic acids are among examples.
  3. The fungus Trichoderma polysporum produces cyclosporin A, a bioactive molecule used as an immunosuppressive treatment in organ transplant patients.
  4. Lipases (bioactive molecules) are enzymes used in detergent formulas to help remove greasy stains from clothes.
