Solution

If there is no moon:

  1. There would be no illumination at night. After Venus, the moon is the brightest object in the night sky. A full moon is nearly 2,000 times brighter than Venus.
  2. The time difference between days and nights would be reduced.
  3. The day would last six to twelve hours if there was no moon.
  4. The solar and lunar eclipses would not occur.
  5. The sea level would be much higher than it is now.
