What is a closure property?

The property whichrefers to how an operation acts on two numbers of a set is known to be closure property. That is, in order for a set to satisfy the closure property for some operation, it must be the case that if that operation is performed on any two elements in the set. For example, the set of even natural numbers, [2, 4, 6, 8, .], is closed with respect to addition because the sum of any two of them is another even natural number, which is also a member of the set
