  1. The blood circulatory system is meant for the circulation of blood.
  2. A complex network of arteries, capillaries, and veins makes up the human circulatory system.

Organs of the blood circulatory system:

  1. The human circulatory system consists of the heart, arteries, veins, blood capillaries, and blood.
  2. The heart is the pumping organ and does double circulation in the body.
  3. It has two atria and two ventricles.
  4. Atria are the receiving chambers that receive blood.
  5. The ventricles are distributing chamber which distributes the blood
  6. It is the vital circulatory organ in the human body.
  7. Blood is another component of the circulatory system.
  8. It consists of blood plasma, blood cells, and platelets.
  9. WBC and RBCs are the blood cells.
  10. WBC is meant for the defense mechanism of the body.
  11. Platelets are also known as thrombocytes.
  12. They help in blood clotting.
  13. Blood vessels are tube-like structures that carry blood throughout the body.
  14. In our bodies, we have two types of blood vessels i.e. arteries and veins.
  15. Arteries transport oxygenated blood from our heart to the rest of our body's organs.
  16. Veins transport deoxygenated blood from our body's cells back to the heart.

Functions of blood circulatory system:

  1. It keeps all of our body's organs supplied with blood.
  2. It carries nutrients, and hormones, to numerous cells and organs.
  3. It defends our bodies against new disease-causing microbes.
