Newton's law of universal gravitation:

  1. Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation states that every particle in the universe attracts every other particle with a force directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of their distance.
  2. The equation form of Newton's law of universal gravitation is F=Gm1m2r2. Here, F is the gravitational force between bodies,m1and m2 are the masses of the bodies, r is the distance between the centres of two bodies, G is the universal gravitational constant.
