Question

What Is the Difference Between Consumer and Customer With an Example?

Open in App
Solution

Customer is the person who purchases the goods or services by paying for it, while the consumer is the person who is the end user or consumes the product that is purchased.

A customer may or may not be the end user of the product.

For e.g. Ram purchases a mobile phone for his father, here Ram is the customer while Ram’s father is the one who will be using the mobile, so he is the consumer.
