Cell wall is not present.

Growth is restricted to the tips of stem and roots.

For animal tissue, growth is uniform all over the body.

Some tissues are dead and some are living.

All tissues are living.

Less energy and maintenance is required as plants do not require movement.

 These tissues require more energy and maintenance due to body mobility.

They provide strength and support to the plant.

They control all functions.
