Open in App
Solution

Solution.

The nthterm of an A.P. is given by the expression,

an=a+(n-1)d

Where a is the first term and d is the common difference.

We have to find the first four terms of the A.P. which has a=4,d=-3.

a1=a=4a2=a+d=4+(-3)=1a3=a+2d=4+2(-3)=-2a4=a+3d=4+3(-3)=-5

Hence, the first four terms of the given A.P. are 4,1,-2,-5.
