Solution

Solution.

The nthterm of an A.P. is given by the expression,

an=a+(n-1)d

Where a is the first term and d is the common difference.

We have to find the first four terms of the A.P. which has a=-1,d=12.

a1=a=-1a2=a+d=-1+12=-12a3=a+2d=-1+212=0a4=a+3d=-1+312=12

Hence, the first four terms of the given A.P. are -1,-12,0,12.
