Solution

Net force:

  1. The sum of all the forces acting on an object is defined as the net force.
  2. If an object is subjected to two forces of equal magnitude but opposite diversity, the net force will be zero (null vector).
  3. When an object is in equilibrium (at rest or moving at a constant speed), the net force acting on it is zero.
