The first three terms of AP can be expressed as :

a,a+d,a+2d

So,

a=12a+d=12+-16=12-16=3-16=26=13a+2d=12+2-16=12-13=3-26=16

Hence, the first three terms of the given arithmetic progression are 12,13 and 16.
