Solution

Work done in current electricity

  1. When charges move in an electric circuit, they take with them some electrical energy. Work is done in the circuit when they travel from higher to lower or lower to higher potential difference.
  2. The quantity of energy transferred in the duration in which charges were in motion can be used to calculate the rate of accomplishing work.
  3. The electric work is given as W=QV. Here, The electric potential, V, is measured in volts, the electric charge in Coulombs is Q and W is the work done.
