Ribosomes are known as the protein factory of the cell. 

Ribosomes are tiny, oval-shaped organelles of the cell present both in prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms. They are found both free and attached to the surface of the rough endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria.

Ribosomes are known as the protein factory of the cell. As they synthesizes the proteins by gathering and assembling amino acids into protein chains. The process through which Ribosome produces proteins is called Translation.
