Solution

Reticulated venation:

  1. The arrangement of veins and the veinlets in the lamina of the leaf is termed venation.
  2. There are mainly two types of venation in a leaf - Reticulate venation and Parallel venation.
  3. When the veinlets form a network, the venation is termed as reticulate.
  4. When the veins run parallel to each other within a lamina, the venation is termed parallel.
  5. The most common venation pattern in nearly all the dicotyledonous angiosperms, including rose plants, is reticulated venation.
