Solution

Law of limiting factor:

  1. Frederick Frost Blackman proposed the law of limiting factors.
  2. Blackman proposed this law in 1905 according to which, a chemical process depends on multiple factors the rate of the process will be limited by the pace of the slowest factor or limiting factor.
  3. Such as photosynthesis depends on multiple factors and in this chemical process CO2, H2O and light play limiting factor if any one of them is slower or lower the photosynthesis is expected to become slow even if the other quantities are present in ample condition.
  4. For example if CO2 is present in a lower quantity (due to closure of stomata because of high temperature) the rate of photosynthesis will become slow.
