With the help of well labelled diagram describe the structure of nephrons.

Each kidney has nearly one million complex tubular structures called nephrons, which are the functional units. Nephrons have two parts – glomerulus and the renal tubule. Blood from the glomerulus is carried away by an efferent arteriole. At one end, the tube is closed, folded and expanded, into a double-walled, a cuplike structure called the Bowman’s capsule or renal corpuscular capsule.
