Two similarities between a right-angled triangle and an obtuse angled scalene triangle are:

  • Both triangles contain two acute angles.
  • The side opposite to the right angle is the longest side in a right isosceles triangle. Similarly, the side opposite the obtuse angle is the triangle’s longest side.

Two differences between a right-angled triangle and an obtuse angled scalene triangle are:
