SRMJEEE is conducted twice a year for admissions into the various engineering programs available at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. SRMJEEE is a common entrance examination by which the candidates can apply for admission into any one of the branches of the SRM Institutes located at Kattankulathur, Sikkim, Ramapuram, Haryana, NCR-Ghaziabad, Amravati and so on.
The SRMJEEE is conducted in three phases all over the country. The candidates may choose to appear either in one, two or all the three phases of the examination. The SRMJEEE is a remote proctored online examination; hence can be given from any location from either the smartphone, laptop or computer. The last date to apply for SRMJEEE 2023 exam is June 5, 2023.

SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria
Before proceeding to apply for SRMJEEE 2023, the candidate must ensure his/her eligibility as described by the authoritative bodies of SRMJEEE – 2023. The different institutions of SRM Institute of Science and Technology located at different locations follow different sets of eligibility criteria. Candidates can visit https://www.srmist.edu.in/admission-india/engineering/admission-procedure-eligibility for complete details about the eligibility criteria.
However, some points of eligibility criterias as per different institutions are described below:
(I.) SRM University, Andhra Pradesh Eligibility:
The admissions are confirmed only after meeting the below given eligibility and on successfully qualifying the exams- SRMJEEE or SRMAPET.
- Age: The candidate should be 16+ years of age as on 31st July of the 12th Board or qualifying examination year.
- Nationality: Both- the Indian and NRI candidates having either the PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India are eligible.
- The NRI candidates (with PIO or OCI cards) who have not appeared for the SRMJEEE-UG must apply under the International student category.
- The Candidate must have an aggregate score of 60% or equivalent grade points in Grade 10 Examination.
- The Candidate must have an aggregate score of 60% or equivalent grade points in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Grade 12 Examination in any of the Indian Boards recognised by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi.
- Students appearing for the Grade 12 Boards Examination in the current academic year are also eligible to apply for the exam.
(II.) SRM University, Sonepat (Delhi-NCR) Eligibility:
(a.) Under-Graduate Programs: The candidates with a valid score in SRMJEEE, JEE Mains, SAT and IPU CET are eligible for admissions. Detailed SRMJEEE eligibility criteria for under-graduate courses are given below:

- For B.Tech Computer Science, B.Tech Electricals and Electronics, B.Tach Mechanical Engineering:
(a.) Candidates must have passed Grade-12 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Technical Vocational subject, Information Technology, Engineering Graphics, Agriculture or Business Studies as optional subjects.
(b.) Candidates must score at least 50 % marks in his/her chosen subjects in Grade-12 examinations.

- For B.Tech Biomedical Science:
(a.) Candidates must have passed Grade-12 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology as optional subjects.
(b.) Candidates must score at least 50 % marks in his/her chosen subjects in Grade-12 examinations.
(b.) Post-Graduate Programs: The candidates with a valid score in SRMJEEE-PG, SRMHCAT, and GATE are eligible for admissions. Detailed eligibility criteria for under-graduate courses are given below:

- For M.Tech Civil Engineering:
(a.) Candidates must have pursued either B.E., B.Tech (Civil), B.Arch or any other similar course.
(b.) Candidates must score an aggregate of 50 % marks.

- For M.Tech Electronics and Communication:
(a.) Candidates must have pursued either B.Tech(EEE, ECE, CSE, IT, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering)/B.E./any other similar course or M.Sc (CS, IT, Electronics or Physics with specialisation in Electronics).
(b.) Candidates must score an aggregate of 50 % marks.

- For M.Tech Production Engineering:
(a.) Candidates must have pursued either B.Tech or B.E. in Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Industrial/ Mechatronics/ Manufacturing/ Materials and Metallurgy/ Aeronautical Engineering .
(b.) Candidates must score an aggregate of 50 % marks.
(III.) SRM University, Kattankulathur Eligibility:
The admissions are confirmed only after meeting the below given eligibility and on successfully qualifying the exams- SRMJEEE or SRMAPET.
- Age: The candidate should be 16+ years of age as on 31st July of the 12th Board or qualifying examination year.
- Nationality: Both- the Indian and NRI candidates having either the PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India are eligible.
- The NRI candidates (with PIO or OCI cards) who have not appeared for the SRMJEEE-UG must apply under the International student category.
- Candidates must have a minimum aggregate score of 50% in PCM.
- Candidates who have passed or are appearing in the Grade 12 examination (Higher Secondary Education) must have Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ CS / IT/ Business Studies/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream.
- Students who have passed Grade-12 Examinations from NIOS must have passed in Grade 10 from regular school and vice-versa.
- Candidates who have appeared in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics , English and aptitude in SRMJEEE (UG) are eligible for admission in all B.Tech courses.
Note:- The Kashmir migrant candidates are offered the relaxation in eligibility criteria subject to the minimum eligibility required by UGC.
SRMJEEE Admissions
For admission into a majority of programs provided at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, the admissions are taken through the national level entrance examination as conducted by the institutions. For engineering, the Institute accepts SRMJEEE score along with a few more scores as mentioned in the eligibility criteria. The SRM Institute of Science and Technology also provides direct admissions and scholarships to the students who rank first in central and/or state boards, students who come among top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE, students who top in each district of tamil Nadu, and to students who show their extraordinary talent in national and international level in sports.
SRMJEEE 2023 Syllabus and Examination Pattern

The total marks for the exam are 125 marks and the total duration for completing the examination is 2.30 hours. There is no negative marking for this examination.

- The questions in the examination will be of scholastic aptitude type.
- The total number of questions is 100 and the total time provided to complete the examination is 2.30 hours.
- There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers.
- Each correct answer is given 1 mark.
- 10 questions from Mathematics for all PG exams will be there except for Biotechnology and Food Processing Examinations.

Frequently Asked Questions on SRMJEEE 2023
Are Admissions to SRM 2023 open now?
The application forms for SRMJEEE 2023 are now available. The deadline for submitting the application form for phase 1 is 16th April 2023, for phase 2 is 5th June 2023, and for phase 3 is 17th July 2023. The institute will begin to accept admissions after the declaration of results and counselling.
Can SRMJEEE 2023 be given online?
Yes, SRMJEEE 2023 is a remote proctored online examination. Hence, this exam can be given at the ease of using either a smartphone or a laptop/ computer.
Do the SRM Institutes of Science and Technology accept JEE scores?
Yes, SRM ISTs consider the JEE Mains score for admissions into some of the UG courses.
Is 7000 a good rank in SRMJEEE?
Yes, depending on the course, 7000 rank may be a good one. The candidate may also receive a scholarship for the ranks between 5000-10000 for admissions into various CSE and Non-CSE courses.
Can I get the Direct admission in SRM Institute of Science and Technology?
If you have secured a top rank in any of the- State Boards/ Central Boards or District level examination in Tamil Nadu, you are eligible for direct admission.
