Application Form for UPCATET 2022 UG and PG exams were available from March 1 2022. The UPCATET 2022 exams were conducted on June 16 2022, and June 17 2022. This page contains all the necessary details about the application process.

UPCATET 2022 Application Process

Candidates need to follow the following instructions to fill out the UPCATET 2022 Application Form.

Step-1: Registration

1. Visit the official website at www.upcatetexam.org and click on ‘New Registration’.
2. Fill out the following details as per the Class 10 marksheet – name, date of birth, latest qualification, course details, contact number and email ID, and then click on ‘Submit’.
3. An OTP will be sent to the candidate’s contact number for verification of the entered mobile number. Candidates must check all details at this stage; if any change is required in the registration form, it can be made by pressing the ‘Back’ button. If all the details filled out are correct, candidates can click on the ‘Submit’ button after entering the OTP.
4. Post the contact number verification, the registration number, user ID, and password will be sent to the candidate’s contact number and email ID.
5. Candidates may change their passwords by logging into their accounts.

Step-2: Documents Upload

1. Login into the candidate’s account by using the registration number and password.
2. Candidates now need to fill out their personal information, such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, caste, date of birth, and other sub-categories, such as Person with Disability (PwD), Freedom Fighter (FF), Defence Person (DP), Sports Person (SP), University Employee (UE), aadhar number, address and so on. Click on ‘Submit’ and then ‘Next’ after filling out all the information.
3. On clicking ‘Next’, the candidate is directed to the next page, where they need to upload the scanned copy of their documents in JPG format. The documents needed are right index finger impression, passport size photograph, signatures, Class 10 marksheet, sports certificate, and all other required documents. Click on ‘Submit’ and then ‘Next’ to continue.
4. On the next page, the filled application form with the information provided by the candidate will appear on the screen. The candidate must check all the details properly; after reaching the fee payment page, they would not be able to go back and change any information.

Step-3: Fee Payment

1. After filling out the application form, click on the ‘Fee Payment’ link on the official website www.upcatetexam.org.
2. Choose the fee category as ‘UPCATET 2022’ and then enter the registration number and password to proceed.
3. The application form of the candidate appears on the screen. They must check all the details and click ‘Submit’ to continue.
4. Click ‘Confirm’ on the next page.
5. Pay fees online.

Step-4: Print Application Form

1. Candidates can download the application form after the payment of fees.
2. Candidates are advised to take more than 2 copies of the application form.

Instructions for Filling Out the Application Form

1. Candidates applying for the undergraduate course must select UG in the programme, along with the appropriate group of subjects, such as PCB, PCM, PAG or PHS, as per their qualification.
2. Candidates applying for the postgraduate course must select PG in the programme, along with the appropriate group of subjects, such as MHS, MAG, MFS, MVS, MTA, MTM, MTB, MBA, MFS or MFR, as per their qualification.
3. Candidates must select their main category form: UR/ EWS/ OBC/ SC/ ST.
4. Candidates must also select their sub-category from DP/ FF/ PwD/ UE/ etc.
5. Candidates must select two examination centres, and they must ensure the code for the examination centres too.
6. The scanned photograph of the candidate must be in JPG format.
7. The photograph must be taken either on or before January 31 2022. The name, aadhar number and the date of capturing the photo must be mentioned on the image.
8. Candidates must not wear spectacles or caps in the photograph.
9. Candidates must hold a card carrying information, such as name, aadhar number and date of the photograph, while posing for the coloured photograph for the application form.
10. Candidates must get 15 copies of the photograph for further processing, till the admission process.
11. The signature must be done with a black ball-point pen on white paper. It must be scanned and uploaded in JPG format. The size of the JPG image must not exceed 50-100 KB.
12. The scanned JPG image of the right index finger’s impression must not exceed the size of 50-100 KB.

Application Fee

The candidates have to pay the required application fee online. The transaction charges are also payable by the candidate.

The application fee for the Unreserved category (UR) (or General category), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) is Rs 1250/-. Fees for the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes are Rs 1050/-.
