How Much Do you Know About Cancer?
What happens when the mechanisms regulate cell division and growth fail? What is cell usually normal and well behave start to act abnormal and ignore instruction to growing and dividing. The answer – the cell becomes cancerous. Cancer is a disease that affects numerous vital organs in our body – often leading to death. In cancer, cells begin to grow rapidly and divide violently.
This leads to loss of contact in a vision and encourage dependence. The mass of cells that form as a result serves no functional purpose to us. In fact, they take up a disproportionate amount of nutrients and then termed as tumor. Now tumors can be malignant – in that they can start to grow and top of each other – and invade other nearby tissues when they run out in space. They even can use the blood stream to reach distance part of body in a multi-steps process call metastasis. Now thankfully some tumors don’t’ do this, in fact they inert or inactive and they just simply grow. These are benign tumors. But the tumors, in fact are direct result of failed cell cycle control. In some cancers genetic variations either already present at birth or acquired through mutations in DNA – lead to break down in cell to cell communication and bypassing of cell cycle check points. As well as aboveteosis check points and aboveteosis path way as a whole. As a result cancer cells survive and divide perpetually and over time it takes its stole in the body -leading to individual’s death at the end.
