The West Bengal Board of education came into existence in the year 1975. It is an autonomous board of examination, which is mainly responsible for all the higher secondary education across the state. The West Bengal board of education is supported by the Govt of the state and controlled by a group of board of directors of 65 members. The State board of education is also in charge of finalising the WBCHSE Class 11 textbooks for the respective subjects.
WBCHSE Class 11 Books are used by all the affiliated institutes of the West Bengal board and are prepared by the subject experts based on the current and updated syllabus.
