Insects (cockroaches) have tiny external pores on their bodies called spiracles, which serve as a pathway for air to enter their respiratory systems. Similarly, humans have external pores on their bodies called nostrils that allow air into their respiratory systems.

Therefore, the nostrils are a part of the human body that resembles the cockroach’s spiracle. Cockroaches breathe in oxygen through their spiracles, whereas humans breathe in oxygen through their nostrils.
