The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is one of the most prestigious educational board in India. The board conducts the final examination for Class 10 and 12 every year mostly in the month of March. The Class 12 Biology exam was conducted successfully by CBSE on 27th March 2018.The exam was conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. More than 2 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 Biology exam this year. As per as CBSE exam rules students were given the first 25 minutes to go through the complete question paper before writing down the answers.

The question pattern of the CBSE Class 12 Biology examination was similar to the CBSE Biology Sample Papers issued by the Board. There was a total of 5 sections in their Class 12 Biology Question Paper namely Section A, B, C, D, and E carrying a total marks of 70. The duration of the examination was 3 hours. Chapter-Wise Marks Weightage
As mentioned earlier the CBSE Class 12 Biology paper was divided into 5 sections with total mark of 70 with 3 hours time. According to most students, the paper was comparatively easier than previous year’s paper. Very few diagram based questions came in this year’s exam paper. All the questions were based on the CBSE Class 12 Biology syllabus.

General Review
The 2018 biology exam for class 12 was a lot easier. According to students, some questions were tricky but not a single question was tough. According to exam analysts, 55 to 60 marks are easily scorable out of 70. All the questions came according to the exam syllabus and NCERT books.
