The Chemistry paper was of 70 marks comprising 3 hours of time duration. The paper was of Moderate level and most of the questions were asked from the NCERT books. Few questions were tricky but everything asked was from the CBSE Syllabus. As per the feedback received from the students, the 80% of the Chemistry paper was easy while the 20% was difficult. Overall the paper was of moderate level.

There was no overall choice in the question paper. However, an internal choice has been provided in 2 questions of two marks, 2 questions of three marks and all the 3 questions of 5 marks. Students have to attempt only one question in such choices.
